Organising Events

Deveron Amateur Swimming Club is responsible for organising and running two Competitions within the North District Swim Meet Calendar – Deveron Sprints in the Spring and Deveron Mini Meet in the Autumn.

We also hold two Competitions within our own Club - Club Championships usually take place between Christmas and Easter, and Summer Sprints take place in June, followed by a Summer Presentation evening before the summer break.  These events provide the opportunity for every Club Swimmer to take part in all swimming events within a fun and competitive environment at Banff Swimming Pool.  An ideal opportunity for Parents, friends and family members to come along and support their swimmer!

Fundraising

We are required to fundraise to maintain a healthy financial position and we hope that you will be able to assist with this.  

Our main annual fundraising events are the Deveron Sprints in Spring and the Deveron Mini Meet in Autumn.  Funds are raised through entries to these events, along with the sale of raffle tickets and our Swim Shop.
